Shelter - Els Òbits
2 kilometers from the Coll d'Eres car park, on the road between Matadepera and Talamanca (BV-1221) on the route to the top of Montcau and La Mola, there is a path on the left that leads directly to Els Obits Els Obits are caves that were inhabited intermittently since the Middle Ages. In the last century they were used as a sheepfold for livestock until they were definitively abandoned. They are partially closed on their foreheads and, as they say, they were also used as a hiding place to make fake money. In 1948 some burials were discovered in their environment, a fact that probably originated the name Els Òbits. In the surroundings there is the Flàvia fountain. Free natural shelter in which you can spend the night, capacity for 15 people, with the possibility of lighting a bonfire, as there is a lot of brush and wood in the surroundings. Next to this refuge of Els Òbits, there is another similar one, a little smaller for 6 or 7 people capacity.
It is located in the Natural Park of Sant Llorenç del Munt and the Obac.
