In the heart of the Aragon Valley, tucked between magnificent mountains, this refuge is located in a privileged place for the practice of any modality in mountain sports, from the path full of magic and history to routes of maximum difficulty alpine .

At the foot of the track of Candanchú station and 5 minutes from Astún, the refuge offers the possibility of going out with skis from its doors in winter, or being the starting point for innumerable mountain activities, as well as a compulsory passage of the Camino de Santiago and the GR 11.

Special mention in this valley deserves the enormous artistic interest of its marvelous Romanesque works, as well as an intense cultural life, which complements with other types of activities the most sporting aspect of the Pyrenean valleys.
