This shelter is next to, a few meters away, the hermitage of San Juan del Penyagolosa on weekends the restaurant is open where there are rooms with beds but it is paying, in the free shelter you sleep on the ground, coast of two floors with fireplace and river nearby and the shelter is in good condition.
It can be accessed by car from Vistabella del Maestrazgo and can also be accessed from Villahermosa del Rio.
It is located in the Penyagolosa Natural Park.
