EL REFUGIO gives its name to a hostel located in the middle of nature, surrounded by pine trees and built on top of a rocky rock. A true balcony overlooking the rivers Mijares and Maimona very close to the town of Montanejos.

Its privileged location and its facilities completely renovated in 2010 will make your stay here an unforgettable experience.

This rural hostel is UNIQUE in the sense that we offer different types of accommodation: craft huts, Moroccan tents, rooms for groups, collective dormitory and even the possibility of setting up your own tent. The ideal place if you plan to go with the FAMILY, the FRIENDS, in GROUP or even where to organize your getaway with the SCHOOL or with the CLUB.

We also have a restaurant, so you only have to decide if you request our economic half-board, full-board or à la carte meals.

The hostel is also a meeting place with people with the same concerns, by the mountain, since from here they begin almost all the recommended excursions that cross the area. You can also hire one of our multi-adventure activities, encourage you with our climbing courses without leaving the premises or maybe just go down to the river to relax, enjoying a good swim in the natural pools that you will find at a temperature of 25º.
