Fire guard house. It is not really a shelter prepared for this purpose, but rather it is a watchtower for use by firemen during the surveillance season, which depending on the weather conditions of each year can be extended from May to October.

Unlike other houses that remain closed in winter, this is usually open and can be used as an emergency shelter. Although close, less than an hour's walk away is the Refugio de la Era del Fustal, better conditioned and with greater guarantee of finding it open.
