Shelter - Corrales de Urre
Description
It is located on the right orographic bank of the Cárdenas River Valley, some 8kms above San Millán de la Cogolla.
The asphalted track crosses the valley on the other side, but next to the refuge there is a fork and a bridge that crosses the river and leads to a wide esplanade that serves as a parking area and shelter
Next to the refuge begins the route on foot that leads to the cave of San Millán.
It consists of two elongated rooms. In the first there is a fireplace, and a few years ago there was a table with benches, but it is gone.
The shelter is in quite bad condition, with graffiti and very dirty soil, with some trash and ash.
