Shelter - Refugio Cova Cambra

Description

The Excursionist Union of Catalonia (UEC-Tortosa) has rehabilitated and managed the shelter of Cova Cambra, located in the Mola de Catí, within the Natural Park of Els Ports, after the City of Tortosa, which is the owner , has transferred the management to the entity for a period of 25 years. The consistory, as reported in a press release, has collaborated in the financing of material so that the shelter can be operational and open permanently to the service of hikers.

This house, which is next to the forest track that leads to Cueva Cámara, was formerly used by the Puertos wood workers.

On foot, from the Mascar fountain.
