Located in one of the most beautiful corners of the Sierra del Cadí, on the northern slope of the spectacular Pas de los Gosolans, the Prat d'Aguiló refuge was inaugurated in 1976. It is part of the popular Cavalls del Vent route, which runs through all the shelter of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. This is a mandatory stop if you make this route or if you want to reach the Comabona (2,548 m), the most popular peak in this part of the Sierra. Excellent base camp if you want to practice mountaineering. It is also highly recommended to access the PR-C 124 from the village of Olià (Cerdanya).

How to get there

GPS coordinates: Latitude: 42.2972 Longitude: 1.7141
Access on foot: From Montellà (3 hours). And on the south side, through the Gosolans pass (2.30 pm).
Access by car: Accessible on all terrain vehicles from Montellà.
Zone: Serra del Cadí, Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró.
Emplacement: Al Prat d'Aguiló, al vessant nord de la serra del Cadí i sota el pas dels Gosolans.
