The Refuge Comes from Rubió to 1980m. It is located in the incomparable setting of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, on the massif of L'Orri, in the Pallars Sobirà region. An area where you can perform a lot of outdoor activities at all times of the year: hiking, trail running, mountain biking, snowshoes, mountain skiing, igloos, 4x4, go for mushrooms, horse riding, paragliding, or just spending the day with family or friends. The Refuge Comes de Rubió has 50 seats, a dining room with a fireplace and a shower with hot water. From 1 May to 15 November you can reach it by car on the forest track, in winter it is possible to arrive with snowshoes, mountain skis / crossing. If you wish to visit us, you can contact us by mail (info@refugicomesderubio.com) or by phone. We will inform you about the accesses, snow accumulation, etc.

We have restaurant and bar service. We make traditional home-made meals in the mountains. Among other things we have excellent ecological meats from the region such as the Brunata Veal, the Pyrenean Butter or the Cordero Xisqueta cooked on the slate slab. We also offer a bar service with drinks, coffees, sandwiches and fork breakfasts.

How to get there

Access on foot: From Rubió to the Refuge there is 5 km of signposted track. From the Coll del Port del Cantó to the Refuge 6 km of signposted track. If there is snow you can climb with rackets or with skis.
Access by car: Take the road from El Cantó (N-260) that goes from Sort to La Seu d'Urgell, or vice versa, to Rubió (1687 m., Highest inhabited town in Catalonia) or to the Coll del Port del Cantó (1725m). Both places have a parking lot. - From Sort to Rubió there is about 20 minutes for the N-260 - From Rubió to the Refuge 5 km of signposted track. - From the Coll del Port del Cantó to the Refuge 6 km of signposted track. - From Lleida to the Refuge approximately 2 hours. - From Barcelona, Girona or Tarragona to the Refuge approximately 3 hours.
