The refuge is in optimal conditions and can be used all year round. It has capacity for six people, distributed in bunk beds, but you can get to sleep up to nine. It has a table to cook and space to leave the backpacks.

Arrive to the town of Areu through Sort, and in Areu take the GR11 where we can go by car on forest track to the bridge of Molinassa. From the Molinassa to the refuge walking are 3H and from Areu walking are 5h more or less.

Ascents:
From this refuge you can go up to Pic de Vallpeguera (2744m.), Agulla de Baiau (2837m.), Pic de Baiau (2866m.), Pic de Sanfonts (2888m.), Roca Entravessada (2927m.), Pic de Medacorba ( 2907m.)

Access on foot: From the Puente de la Molinassa following the GR 11 (3 hours).
Access by car: Track from Àreu on the bridge of Molinassa.
