The Malniu refuge is located at the foot of Puigpedròs, the highest summit of the Catalan Cerdanya, and next to the Malniu lakes, at 2,138 m in height, and in the Cerdanya-Alt Urgell National Reserve, in the municipality of Meranges.

Shelter with 54 beds spread over bunks with mattresses, blankets and pillows. You need to bring a sleeping bag.

Dry toilets inside the shelter. WC and hot showers outside, at 25 meters, in summer season.

Bar and food service.

It has a pellet stove and multimedia space.

In the absence of the guard, the emergency shelter has 4 seats.

Access and approach: on the N-260, in the village of Ger, take the turnoff to Meranges. Pass the village and follow the forest track until the refuge (10 km).

The refuge of Malniu is owned by the Meranges Town Hall and was inaugurated in 1954.

Timetable:

Silence from 10:00 p.m. to 07:00 p.m.
Summer dinner at 8:00 p.m.
Winter dinner at 7:30 p.m.
We use rooms from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
