It is located at the top of the Peña Gorda Viewpoint. Shelter with capacity for about 5 or 6 people. Recently renovated (July 2015). It is also located in the surroundings of the Peña Gorda refuge.
In one of the rocks to the left of the Lookout is a plaque that says: I have overcome the summit of the Mount and my soul wanders through the Kingdom of absolute Freedom (18-02-2007)
Access: On the SO-851 road that joins Duruelo de la Sierra with Regumiel de la Sierra on the pk leaves a paved forest track on the left and after 7.5 km on the right is the Peña Gorda refuge.
