It is located at the head of the Ería River Valley, where the Mascariel Creek flows into.
It is accessed by the road that from Corporales goes to Puerto de Moredero, about 4kms past the village, and about 100m to the right of the road. At the point just before the road crosses the Mascariel stream and begins to climb the hillside, drawing several loops.
