The Laguna Grande Refuge is located in the Natural Park of the Sierra de Gredos. Due to its strategic location in the heart of Gredos, it receives a large number of visitors throughout the year. From our position in the refuge, as a company and as individuals, we always try to carry out a task of control and awareness, in terms of the impact of our stay and our journey through Gredos.
65 places in bunk beds with mattresses and blankets, distributed in 3 collective dormitories.
WINTER AREA
When the shelter is CLOSED AND IN THE ABSENCE OF THE GUARDS, an area in the lower part of it remains open, with a capacity for 10 people.

Access by car:
Local road 502 to the junction with the local road 500 (51 km from Ávila and 30 km from Arenas de San Pedro). In the detour take the direction of Barco de Ávila, (Parador de Gredos) when you get to the town of Hoyos del Espino, take the road to La Plataforma de Gredos.
