Shelter - Refugio de Urizosas

Description

From Santander take the Cantábrica-Meseta A-67 motorway where in Torrelavega it becomes the A-8 Cantábrico highway and at exit 244 take the CA-135 to the town of Cabezón de la Sal where the CA is taken. -180 where later we will take a road (S-202) to Ucieda de Abajo and continue a little to Ucieda de Arriba.
From Ucieda de Arriba we continue along the S-202 on a forest track, where we will pass through several small houses, until we reach the Casa del Monte, which if we continue along the same track, we will reach a detour which will take us to the left. We will follow this path, where we will pass through forests where we will ascend, and there will be many curves. Follow the indication that puts Los Bosques de "Urizosas" and if we continue walking along the same path we will reach another sign that says Refugio de Urizosas, take that detour, and cross through many trees until you reach a clearing where you see the shelter on high.
From Ucieda it is 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately. It is located in the Natural Park of Saja-Besaya
The refuge consists of two parts, has a fireplace in both parts of the shelter, table, and old wooden chairs. Access is easy, and he has laughed in his surroundings.
