This refuge is at the bottom of the Pineta Valley, one of the most beautiful and well-known valleys of the Aragonese Pyrenees, surrounded by lush forests and steep walls that have been modeled by glacial action.
The building, fully integrated into the landscape that surrounds it, is located next to the Cinca River, very close to the valley floor and the Parador de Turismo, as well as just on the edge of the delimitation of the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido.
The nearby Bielsa tunnel also allows it to be a base for activities both in its surroundings and on the French slope.
