Shelter - Refugio Ángel Orús
Description
The Angel Orús shelter is located in the valley of the Aigüeta de Eriste, 2,150 m high, at the foot of the Needles of Forcau. From the terrace of the refuge you can enjoy spectacular views of the valley. Built around the old shelter of the Forcau, intact inside this emblematic refuge as a vestige of what once was. Now the old Forcau is a modern building that offers all the comforts to have a pleasant stay.
The Angel Orús has been certified with ISO 14001 since October 2003, a pioneering experience in Spain and the Pyrenees in the field of mountain refuges, from where it is committed to an environmental management model with the installation of renewable energy sources, the usual practice of selective waste collection and environmental awareness campaigns.
