Shelter - Refugio Peñon de la Polarda

Description

ACCESS:
To get to Abla, from Granada, A-92.
To get to Ohanes, from Granada, A-44, exit 164, take the A-348 until you reach Ohanes.
From Almeria to Ohanes, N-340 and in Benahadux, A-348 to Ohanes.
From Almeria to Abla, A-92.
Access by vehicle: Up to the refuge by forest track from Abla and Ohanes by forest track to the refuge itself.
On foot: Less than one hour from El Espino pass, through forest track to the refuge. 2 hours from the Serbal farmhouse.
The refuge is located between the towns of Ohanes and Abla.

Bivouac shelter.
Water: Barranco de Muñoz, 10 minutes west. Cistern in the Espino hill.
Fireplace, table and benches.

LOCATION
On the southern slope, under the rock of La Polarda.
Sierra Nevada Oriental
