The refuge of the Agols is located on the right side of the Agols river, below Cap de Montuell, in the parish of Encamp.

It is small in size and can accommodate 6 people. The refuge of the Agols (2,230 meters of altitude and 600 meters of altitude) can be accessed by car on the Cortals d'Encamp road to the Borda de las Pardines, at 1,640 meters, shortly before km 3 of the CS-220 , on the left side of some water tanks. There you will find a large parking area and a wooden sign indicating the way (yellow dots). The climb is sustained inside the forest until another indicative sign is found, at 1,940 meters, which gives us the option of going to the Prat de Gilet or the refuge of the Agols. About 50 meters further up we will find another sign. At this point we will take the path on the right, which is flatter and leads directly to the refuge, bordering the Montuell river. The refuge has bunk beds and a fireplace. It has water next to it. It is an unguarded refuge, which is open all year, although maintenance is usually done during the summer months (cleaning, firewood, first aid kit ...). The walking tour is of medium difficulty. There is coverage for mobile phone.
