Shelter - Refugio de Marradetas

Free shelter (not guarded).

Located in Puerto de Sahún (about 12.5 km from the Plan a Chía or Chía a Plan trail -25 kms from town to town-)

The track is in very good condition and is accessed by car until the entrance to the refuge (about 35 minutes from Chia). For this reason, in summer, it is visited by groups of friends who do not practice any kind of sport and only spend the weekend. Even so, as far as cleaning is concerned, it maintains a correct state.

2 floors: down the wood room + dining room with table and benches + fireplace, upstairs different sleeping rooms with capacity for 40 people, approximately.

For winter skiing and / or snowshoeing. Example: excursion from the town of Chía to the refuge, a long but very easy climb (as a starting point for your learning is to recommend).

For the practice in summer of descent of canyons near the area. Ex .: Aigüeta de Ariste and / or The 12 Cascadas del Liri. Also, to make trips on BTT.

You can pick firewood in the vicinity of the shelter.
