By vehicle: Granada take the A-44 to exit 164 where we take the A-348 where in Orgiva, in the back of the town we follow the road and directions to Capileira. Up to Puerto Molina, there are about 15 km from Capileira; beyond the track is closed to traffic. After the village of Capileira, you can arrive by car to the Poquiera power station
Without vehicle: Granada to Capileira you can use the public transport of the company Alsinas Graells. You can use the services of the company NEVADENSIS in Pampaneira, telephone number 958 76 31 27.
On foot: 2 hours 50 minutes from Puerto Molina on the Capileira track. 1 hour 50 minutes from the Refugio Poqueira by the river Mulhacen. 3 to 4 hours from Puerto Molina. For this access there is a section very exposed to avalanches and falls on steep slopes (Paso de la Cruz), on the hillside O. Del Mulhacen. Safer access from Poqueira refuge on the right bank of the river (1 hour 40 minutes) through the refuge of the caldera, following the same path to the shelter of Villavientos.

It is a small refuge-bivouac owned by the former National Hunting Reserve that, when it disappears, is conditioned as such, built in masonry with a flat roof. Inside it has bunk beds, bench and table. The National Park preserves it, and it is located in the municipality of Capileira.
It is located about 40 m from the track of Loma Pelada, at 3,040 m altitude, and serves as access to the summits and base for mountain activities.
A small building with room for 10-12 people and as the name suggests, is hit by the wind without any truce.
