Shelter - Refugio Peña El Collao

Description

Refugio de Cazadores located in the pass that separates the valleys of San Millan de la Cogolla (Rio Cárdenas) and Estollo (Iruela River).

The GR93, in the stage between San Millán de la Cogolla and Anguiano passes by the refuge.

It has two rooms, one of them, the most interior has a table with benches and fireplace.

The construction of the shelter seems to be quite recent, but it is regrettable the amount of garbage that has accumulated inside the shelter,
despite being accessible by a track. Perhaps for that reason and for its easy access to individuals without education or respect for the environment, it is in this state.
