It is located near the ruins of the Mines of Liat, after tracing the valley of Bagerge (Arroyo Unhola) for 13 kms.

The refuge has a table and chairs and a high level where 8 or 9 people fall and another 3 in bunk beds on the ground floor.

In December 2009, after a 5-hour walk with snowshoes we arrived at 5 in the afternoon and found it full of snow.
