It is located in the Collado del Remansadero, in the meadows of CampoHermoso, between the Sierra de la Filera and the Sierra de Villabandín and north of the town of Salce.
It is accessed from Salce by a track that goes north to Abelgas de Luna
It is a shepherd's hut, shelter of fortune. As the only piece of furniture, it has an old chair and a concrete bench attached to the wall. It has a fireplace, but there is no firewood nearby. There is a fountain 100 meters from the refuge in a southeasterly direction.
