From Santander take the Cantábrica-Meseta A-67 motorway where in Torrelavega it becomes the A-8 Cantábrico highway and at exit 244 take the CA-135 to the town of Cabezón de la Sal where the CA is taken. -180 to Barcenillas where, following the road through the village, we arrive on CA-815 to La Miña.

TRACK
As much of Barcenillas as of the Miña is to follow the track, indicated by posters, that takes you directly to the Refuge in the Braña de las Joces.
From the Miña, there starts the route of the Foramontanos with signs that indicate the route, we take track to the SE, with very good sign and that to cross in smooth rise all the valley crossing the river several times. We follow the main track on the left to the town of La Miña.
We continue the monotonous track until the sign of the path of the SL-R3 waterfalls of La Miña. Where repopulations are seen on the slopes facing. About 100 meters more or less a branch appears where we continue to the front on the same track and we can see, in the bracket of Joces, the cabin that looks on a slope where we touch it.

Refuge data:
Very well conditioned, with stove / fireplace, table and benches.
