Small shelter located next to the Peñón de Lanteira Viewpoint, on the track that runs along the northern slope of Sierra Nevada in the Marquesado del Zenete. By track it is 7kms from the Lanteira Town, although walking along the path of the Arrieros you can reach the refuge in an hour from the town.
It is a very small shelter in poor condition, it only has one room, with a fireplace but very neglected. with debris inside.
